Protecting Inlet Cowls
During programmed downtime, many objects, people and vehicles can damage inlet cowls on aircraft. On average, an inlet cowl repair can cost around $11,000 and take around 3 days. All these without considering AOG times, flight cancellations, itinerary disruptions, logistic costs and lead times which will all depend on each operators' conditions.
We offer a modular custom molded Inlet Cowl protector that will greatly reduce the occurrence of dents scratches and knicks. Feel free to use from one to five modules per engine cowl both on wing and during shop repairs.
